Submit-a-Plan is the national Portal for building control applications to any authority in England, Wales & Northern Ireland. Having processed millions of applications since its inception in 2005, it is the largest and most used portal in the UK. It is also a 2 way portal, allowing you to update your application, track it*, and a central point of contact with the authority.
When the local authority surveyor carries out an inspection for a project with a Protek warranty in place, the information and actions required are all uploaded to the cloud, and shared back with you either via Submit-a-Plan itself, or if you choose an App available for your Android or Apple Mobile Device (iOS). This allows you to get away from the tireless delays of running a paper system.
Your builder or contractor can also use the App to view any actions raised during the local authority surveyors visit. They can also see all the inspections due, and request the inspections easily without the need to call the authority, saving time, and meaning your builder can build rather than being stuck in a phone queue.
Once your project is signed off for building regs, we will provide you with a fully inclusive inspection report, which will highlight any issues raised, and ultimately any applied solutions subsequently signed off. In many cases this will include photographs of the process throughout.
